JOURNEY
AUTOBIOGRAPHIC

The proposal

Every human being is, since childhood, educated, guided and led – in the family, in formal education, in the community to which he belongs – to follow certain paths and standards to adapt to his socio-economic-cultural environment; and/or the expectations of parents, educators or other caregivers. However, in these paths, not always and not all individuals are respected in their singularities and unique ways of being.

At some point in life, points of attention arise: changes in family routine, changes in housing, city or country, separation or loss of a family member; passages and transitions – changing schools, friends, references, mentors, loves; accidents, illnesses, emotional imbalances; among many other episodes.

These are generally 'turning points' that leave marks, wounds, nostalgia. This is when, in many lives, changes take place in the personal journey. Returning to the original path of each one foreshadows the possibility of rebuilding our integrity and our mental and emotional health.

What are the possibilities and perspectives of retaking our 'essence', our roots, our powers and impulses of life and realigning our journey?

The invitation to enter this 'Autobiographical Journey' consists of each participant making an incursion into their own life story; to reveal the signs that, from their memories and research of their roots of origin, make it possible to point to their most genuine being; intertwine these signs, resignify and recognize 'the golden thread' lost or left behind.

During the process, we will have as interlocutors Carl Jung, Nise da Silveira, James Hillman, Edgar Morin and Rafael López Pedraza. We will work with basic assumptions about the complexity of the human being, bringing readings, myths, poetry, exchange of experiences and development of individual tasks and research. Life stories will be shared through narratives and artistic expressions chosen by each participant.
